A Hands-on Workshop
with Willow LaMonte
focusing on safely
growing our own
nutritious food.

 From starting an annual
vegetable garden to creating perennial,
edible Permaculture gardens.

We’ll cover preparing and enriching
a living soil, safe composting techniques, mulch, conserving water, companion planting, and inviting beneficial insects and birds
to take care of garden pests.

Please feel free to bring a potluck dish for lunch.

Fresh picked herb tea and salad
from the gardens provided.

Herbs for Women’s Health”

Learn simple yet ancient ways to use and organically grow herbs beneficial for women’s healthcare throughout our life cycles.

We’ll cover:

• Herbal care for adolescent girls; pregnancy preparation, nursing, and weaning; peri- and menopausal women

• Plants to ease stress, strengthen our immune systems, encourage breast health, support our unique nutritional needs, and lovely our skin

• Using fresh and dried herbs, teas, tinctures, and vinegars And, bath and foot soaks, too! Oh yeah!

Pre-registration necessary. Directions provided upon registration.
Sliding scale $100-150. Partial work exchange available.

Join us for an informal walk to delight in the gifts from our local wild plants, both Florida natives and others happily adapted to our unique conditions.

We’ll meet wild edibles high in nutrition (eat your weedies!) that many of us have growing in our own yards, plus medicinals, wildlife habitat plants, and providers of garden and basket-making supplies.

• Suggested donation $10-15

• Fresh herb tea provided.

• Organic plants, seeds, and garden books available for sale.
